Samsung on Monday (March 3, 2025) launched three Galaxy A series smartphones in India featuring Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 in India. All these A series phones will get six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and six years of security updates.
The South Korean electronics major introduced the Galaxy AI in the latest A series phones with features like eraser, summarise, circle to search, best face, auto trim, read aloud.
Each of the Galaxy A series phones: Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26, is IP67 rated.
All the three phones: Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26, come with a 6.7 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display having a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits of peak brightness.

Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 ship with a 5,000mAh battery. The A56 and A36 support 45 W charging while the A26 gets up to 25 W charging support.
Galaxy A56 5G runs on the Exynos 1580 chipset and Galaxy A36 5G features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. The Galaxy A26 uses Exynos 1380 processor. Each of the phone operates on One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box.
All the three phones offer storage from 128 GB to 256 GB. The RAM starts from 6 GB and goes up till 12 GB.
Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 sport a 12 MP front camera while the Galaxy A26 gets a 13 MP front lens.
At rear, Galaxy A56 features a 50 MP main camera along with a 12 MP ultrawide lens and a 5 MP macro. The Galaxy A36 comes with a 50 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 5 MP macro. Galaxy A26 too gets a 50 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro.
The Samsung Galaxy A56 starts at ₹41,999 and the Galaxy A36 begins at ₹32,999.
Galaxy A56 5G comes in Awesome Olive, Awesome Lightgray and Awesome Graphite colours while Galaxy A36 5G will sell in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Black and Awesome White.
However, Samsung has not disclosed the pricing of Galaxy A26.
