Lenovo has unveiled a host of AI-powered devices at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, including a range of new ThinkPad and ThinkBook AI PCs and an AI Stick. A bunch of them are still in the proof-of-concept stage.
The new Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition is focused on creative professions and can leverage the Intel Core Ultra processor up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU to deliver advanced AI capabilities for video, image and music applications. There’s also the Yoga Solar PC proof-of-concept which is powered by the sun.
The company partnered with Intel to build two new AI laptops, the Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition and the Yoga 7 2-in-1 series of convertible laptops that can be used as a laptop or tablet. The device comes with a new Yoga pen for digital sketching.
Lenovo’s IdeaPads, which are available in specific markets in Asia Pacific have a range of variants in Pro and Slim categories in different dimensions. Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors, these Copilot+1 PCs are designed for AI tasks.
Meanwhile, the Lenovo AI Stick is a proof-of-concept which gives non-NPU PC users the ability to use advanced AI features such as local Large Language Models and AI graphic apps on their devices. The stick connects via a USB-C Thunderbolt port helping PCs leverage Lenovo AI Now11 functionalities. It can also be plugged into a wall socket.
The Lenovo AI Display is also a proof-of-concept that enhances the monitor while connecting non-AI PCs with AI computing capabilities because of a discrete NPU. It can listen to user commands by way of physical movements they make and follow the instructions.
“Our latest ThinkPad and ThinkBook innovations leverage AI to enhance productivity, streamline IT management, and provide more secure and seamless hybrid work experiences,” said Eric Yu, SVP of SMB and Commercial Product Center, Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group in a blog posted by the company.
