Apple Store app launches in India

Apple announced on Thursday (January 16, 2025) that its Apple Store app was launching in India, enabling users to shop through the app, get recommendations, customise their gadgets, and communicate with product experts.

After downloading the Apple Store app from the app store, users can explore new products, accessories, and services. They can also coordinate delivery and pickup of purchased products, as well as have their devices engraved in eight languages or boosted with extra memory. App users can further work with specialists to set up their devices.

While India has brick-and-mortar Apple stores in Delhi and Mumbai, future store locations are slated for Bengaluru and Pune as well.

“At Apple, our customer is at the centre of everything we do, and we are thrilled to introduce the Apple Store app to reach even more users in India, further deepening our connections. With the Apple Store app, customers will discover a new and seamless way to shop for all our incredible products, receive personalised support, and really experience the best of Apple,” said Karen Rasmussen, Apple’s head of Retail Online.
